We're looking for a Baker who enjoys creating high-quality baked goods from scratch, takes pride in their craft, and works well as part of a collaborative team in our Prepared Foods Department.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help provide fresh, high-quality bakery products by:
Preparing muffins, cookies, cakes, breads, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
Meeting daily production goals while maintaining consistency and quality.
Preparing, stocking, and rotating bakery products to ensure freshness.
Maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
Following food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Assisting with receiving deliveries and organizing bakery inventory.
Processing special orders and wholesale orders as needed.
Monitoring product quality and communicating equipment or supply needs to the Prepared Foods Manager.
Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and assisting customers with bakery selections.
Supporting the Prepared Foods team with additional tasks as assigned.

Has previous baking or food service experience (preferred).
Enjoys scratch baking and producing high-quality products.
Has strong attention to detail and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Is dependable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team.
Provides friendly and helpful customer service.
Has an interest in natural and organic foods.
Is available to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Holds or is able to obtain a Food Handler Permit.

Physical & Work Environment
Fast-paced bakery and grocery environment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive food preparation.
Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to hot ovens, baking equipment, refrigerated storage, and freezer areas.
Ability to work safely around commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning products.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: Grade 2 ($15.86/hour), with annual performance reviews and growth opportunities.
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days, including:
