ABOUT THE ROLE
Associations International is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Membership Engagement Specialist to support the International SPA Association (ISPA) team. In this role, you’ll help maintain strong relationships with members by coordinating outreach, assisting with renewals, tracking member data, and promoting the benefits and resources ISPA offers spa professionals worldwide.
This position reports to the Director of Operations and is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience providing strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and a knack for keeping projects organized and on track.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with membership renewal efforts, including outreach, follow-ups, and reporting progress toward membership goals
- Maintain accurate member information in Salesforce and prepare reports to support decision-making
- Help develop and send targeted communications to members to increase awareness and usage of benefits (e.g., career center, research library, learning tools, events)
- Support membership campaigns and initiatives by coordinating timelines, compiling data, and tracking results
- Assist with member content for newsletters, emails, and website updates
- Serve as a point of contact for member inquiries, ensuring a positive and timely response
- Provide support for ISPA events, including conference registration for spa members and group proposals
- Collaborate with the ISPA team on projects to enhance the overall member experience
- Provide support for ISPA events, and serve as the lead for spa member conference registration
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, member relations, or a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
