Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiate agreements and contracts and settle claims suitable to clients.
• Build client relationships and provide excellent customer experience.
• Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, and pleadings.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.

Qualifications:

• Law degree from fully accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• 2+ years litigation experience.  
• Ability to commute/relocate to Lexington, KY 40507 OR Louisville, KY 40202
